Law enforcement officials are investigating a crash involving a motorcycle on U.S. 30 eastbound of East Mansfield Street in Bucyrus.
An attempted traffic stop resulted in an armed suspect shooting at law enforcement officers and the eventual fatality of the suspect, according to a press release by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.
Nolen Martin, 26, of Bucyrus appeared in Crawford County Common Pleas Court for a status hearing. Nolen is accused of rape, a first-degree felony, punishable with up to 25 years in prison.
