Ronald Worcester has asked for a meeting with the Bucyrus City Board of Building Standards and Appeals to seek relief from portions of the order to demolish a building he owns at 209 West Mansfield Street.
That meeting is scheduled for 9:15 on Monday morning in City Council Chambers.
City officials condemned the vacant building on April 7 when it was inspected following reports that cracking and popping could be heard. City zoning inspector John Rostash issued an order to demolish the building when it was discovered the walls were beginning to buckle.
Worcester was given 60 days to tear down the three-story building.
