For the very first time at the Crawford County Fair, the youth building played host to a cornhole tournament. The proceeds from entry fees and a donation jar went to fund local 4-H initiatives.

Gift cards from multiple local sponsors were awarded to participants by way of random drawings, with the ultimate prize being a flat screen TV for each member of the winning team.

Thirty-four teams signed up and played in the double elimination tournament, but in the end, Jim Park of Ashland and Brandon Corwin of Mansfield were the victors who remained standing. Both men, who have made cornhole a large part of their overall recreation, said that the Crawford County Fair was wonderful and that it felt really, really good to win.

Other prizes included ShopVacs and Cleveland Indians tickets.
