Press release
Bucyrus, Ohio – Three Bucyrus families will be featured in the September/October issue of statewide Our Ohio magazine for their efforts to create a thriving farm market, event center and agriculture learning destination at Pickwick Place.
The Stuckey, Hartschuch and Schimpf families are the leaders in revitalizing the once neglected property now home to Pickwick Place along State Route 4. Each family brings a unique gift to the partnership with the goal to make Pickwick Place a popular Ohio destination.
“God bless the Stuckeys (and other families). They are in the process of revitalizing the whole north end of town,” said Bucyrus Mayor Jeff Reser. “When I first heard about their plans, I was so happy I couldn’t stop smiling. I knew it was going to be a huge undertaking for them but I knew these were folks who had a vision and a plan and had enough drive to get it done.”
