BUCYRUS — One woman was transported to the emergency room after a single-vehicle rollover crash in rural Bucyrus.

Emergency crews responded to the 1800 block of Ohio 19 southeast of Bucyrus just before 1 p.m. Wednesday.

According to Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper T.J. Kohls, initial reports showed the driver was traveling south on Ohio 19 went she went left-of-center and into a ditch, causing her vehicle to roll over.

Due to the vehicle being against a utility pole, members of the Whetstone Volunteer Fire Department used JAWS to cut the driver-side door to assist in removing the victim.

The woman was transported to Galion Community Hospital by Life Support Team EMS for injuries not expected to be life threatening.

The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene and Carl’s Auto Sales and Service towed the vehicle.

There were no other occupants in the vehicle and the crash remains under investigation.
