GALION—One person was cited following a crash that involved a Crawford County Sheriff’s Office vehicle on Tuesday at 12:42 p.m.

Galion Police assisted at the scene of the three-vehicle accident, along with the fire department and EMS personnel, on Ohio 309 near Ohio 61. Ronk’s Towing was in charge of removing the vehicles from the scene.

Chuwuebuka C. Ugwu was issued a citation for failure to reinstate his driver’s license and failure to yield the right of way when turning left.

12:12 a.m.-A report of a  missing juvenile was investigated. The juvenile returned home and was in violation of probation and taken into custody in the 200 block of North Market Street.

3:06 a.m.-A motorist was issued a citation for no plate light in the South Street area.

3:18 a.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle in the Heise Park area with an odor of possible marijuana coming from it was investigated.

8:22 a.m.-Needles found in a front yard in the 1100 block of Ohio 61 were turned over to officers.

9:59 a.m.-A report of two dogs on a roof of a residence in the 200 block of Fellow Street was investigated. The Crawford County Dog Warden assisted at the scene.

4:57 p.m.-A dispute between neighbors was investigated in the 400 block of West Atwood Street. Both people involved were issued warnings for disorderly conduct.

7:58 p.m.-A Center Street resident reported someone used their personal information to obtain a cell phone.

9:37 p.m.-Employees of Galion Community Hospital reported that a patient left the hospital without being discharged and with an IV still in his arm. While looking for the person, officers arrested Matthew Watkins on a warrant.

11:16 p.m.-A report of a suspicious man in the 600 block of Grove Avenue was investigated.
