GALIONꟷA citation was issued to the driver of a large truck after a minor accident in the South Market Street area on Wednesday at 11:37 a.m.
Chad M. Brewer was issued a citation for improper backing when he backed his truck into a car. No injuries were reported.

3:51 a.m.-Officers delivered a message for the Ontario Police Department to a resident in the 900 block of East Walnut Street.
12:35 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted in the 200 block of Sixth Avenue. No one was home at the residence.
1:49 p.m.-A report of kids playing in high floodwater in the 1000 block of South Market Street was investigated. The kids had left the area.
4:34 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 200 block of Second Avenue.
6:18 p.m.-Officers issued a transient voucher to a person in the 1100 block of South Market Street for a one-night stay at a local hotel.
6:44 p.m.-A dispute was investigated in the 300 block of Gill Avenue.
6:46 p.m.-A parking complaint was investigated in the First Avenue area.
8:15 p.m.-A report of suspicious people in the 600 block of North Market Street was investigated.
9:17 p.m.-A report of a possible fight was investigated in the 600 block of Harding Way West.
