CAREY— The Carey Police Department received a 911 call concerning a shooting at Lindenwood Place. The arriving officer discovered a body in the street at the intersection of Lindenwood Place and Pine Tree Dr.
The body was a male, and he was later pronounced deceased.
At 11:41 PM, a male suspect in the incident arrived at the Carey Police Department and was detained.
He was later transported to the Wyandot County Sheriff’s office.
The case is being investigated by the Wyandot County Major Crimes Unit and is being assisted by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
