An accident in Bucyrus Saturday evening darkened more than 500 homes and sent one woman to the hospital when a car ran into a power pole on the east end of town.
Bucyrus police said the accident which occurred at 6:38 Saturday evening in the area of Highland and Woodlawn avenues also resulted in an injury to one female who was transported to a Columbus hospital. Neither her identity nor the extent of her injuries are known.
Police also did not have a complete report available early Monday morning detailing the cause of the accident.
Power was cut off to 557 people as a result of the accident and it was after 11:30 Saturday evening until all the power had been restored.
