MANSFIELD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital’s Women’s Health Unit and OhioHealth Physician Group’s Obstetrics and Gynecology team helped ensure expecting and new mothers felt supported and prepared at yesterday’s Richland County Community Baby Shower.

The Community Health Access Project organized the event at the Mid-Ohio Conference Center, providing a space for pregnant mothers and new parents with babies under three months old. Among the vendors present, OhioHealth had a team comprising of managers, educators, labor and delivery staff, mother-infant care specialists, a lactation consultant, and a midwife.

Attendees enjoyed decorating onesies and bibs for their little ones while interacting with OhioHealth associates who were on hand to answer questions. OhioHealth distributed tote bags filled with educational materials, stress balls, wipes, and diapers.

In total, OhioHealth gave away more than 200 packages of wipes and diapers, over 150 onesies, and nearly 50 bibs. The hospital also contributed a stroller wagon and baby monitor as door prizes, thanks to donations from the OhioHealth Foundation.
