MANSFIELD—OhioHealth will begin providing the COVID-19 vaccine to children ages 5 to 11 years, on November 9, at the walk-in COVID-19 vaccination clinic within the OhioHealth Ontario Health and Fitness Center, 1750 West Fourth Street, Ontario. The clinic is open Tuesdays through Saturdays, 8 AM to 3:30 PM.

The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5 to 11 is administered as a two-dose primary series, 3 weeks apart. The dosage amount is less than that used for individuals 12 years of age and older.

Vaccine recipients under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Adults, including guardians, must bring identification that includes name and age.
