MANSFIELD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Ohio State University students looking to earn course credits this summer still have time to register for online classes offered by the Mansfield campus.

Nearly two dozen options are available in a wide array of arts and sciences. Courses are set to begin on May 6, and students can register up until that date.

The summer courses are offered exclusively online and fulfill requirements for Ohio State’s General Education Foundation and Theme areas.

Ohio State students from any campus can enroll in the online courses provided by the Mansfield campus.

“Summer courses are a great way for students to meet general degree requirements from any location,” said Dawn Kitchen, professor and associate dean at Ohio State Mansfield. “It’s easy to enroll, but students need to act fast to secure their spot.”

Available courses include astronomy, dance, food science and technology, mathematics, public affairs, geography, theatre, history of art, sociology, Spanish, art education, environment and natural resources, kinesiology: sport, fitness & health, philosophy, psychology, educational studies: philosophy of education, English, French, human nutrition, and international studies.
