Crawford County Emergency Management Director Kirk Williamson said drinking water is the most important thing someone can do to stay safe in the extreme heat.
“Staying hydrated is extremely important and staying out of the direct sunlight,” Williamson said.

He suggested those attending the Crawford County Fair to take special care to always stay hydrated and cool.
