At the Bucyrus Lions Club meeting, it was announced that Club President Terry Spiegel has been inducted into the Ohio Lions District 13-B Hall of Fame for his longtime service to the district. He also received a District Governor’s Appreciation Award.

The club received a “Governor’s Excellence Award” at the District Convention held at Sawmill Creek Resort in Huron, Ohio. Many of the club members attended the convention.

The club is involved in many service projects in Bucyrus including purchasing eyeglasses and low vision aids for those in need, donating to the Lighthouse men’s homeless shelter and supporting civic projects.

Speakers at the meeting were Eliza Cole, who explained BORN, and Carolyn Brook of Bellville, who had recently been elected as the incoming governor for the Lions District 13-B.
