BUCYRUS — Hazardous winter-like weather struck much of Ohio and caused issues for various drivers in north central Ohio.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a crash on U.S. 30 east of the CH 330 exit east of Bucyrus on Monday at approximately 4 p.m. The driver reportedly suffered minor injuries and the crash broke a roadside pole.

Inside the Bucyrus city limits, Bucyrus Police Department officers responded to six crashes and vehicles in ditches since 4 p.m. Monday.
There was only one incident involving multiple vehicles.

Officers responded to a two-vehicle non-injury crash in the area of West Southern Avenue and Marion Road involving a semi-truck and passenger vehicle Monday at 10:48 p.m.

Other incidents involving BPD included:
- A minor accident was investigated Monday at 4:06 p.m. in the 500 block of East Southern Avenue.
- Officers checked on a vehicle in the ditch Monday at 5:33 p.m. in the 1100 block of West Mansfield Street.
- Officers assisted a motorist with a broken-down vehicle Monday at 11:16 p.m. in the area of South Walnut Street and Charles Street.
- Officers were dispatched to assist the Ohio State Highway Patrol checking for a Prius stuck in a snow bank Tuesday at 5:02 a.m.
- Officers assisted with a disabled vehicle stuck in the snow by Taco Bell on Tuesday at 5:09 a.m.

Galion Police Department Chief Brian Saterfield said his department responded to two vehicles that drove into the ditch near the Ohio 598 and U.S. 30 interchange.
Motorists are reminded to use caution when driving in inclement weather.
