BUCYRUS―Bucyrus Police officers investigated several interesting calls over the weekend, including one regarding a vehicle that is falling apart.
Officers were called to the 100 block of West Mansfield Street at 10:01 p.m. Saturday by a caller who said they were afraid when a motorist left the area the red car would fall apart as the back end was being held together by ratchet straps. The call had been transferred to police from the Ohio State Patrol office.
The vehicle was gone from the area upon the arrival of officers.

8:32 a.m.-Officers investigated a parking complaint in the 400 block of West Mansfield Street.
10:39 a.m.-A phone harassment complaint was taken in the 100 block of South Sandusky Avenue.
11:20 a.m.-Officers investigated a report of a disturbance in the 300 block of Sheckler Street. People were arguing and throwing property around in an alleyway while one of the individuals was moving out.
1:02 p.m.-Officers checked the 500 block of South Sandusky Avenue after a report of suspicious persons in the area. The people were cleaning up a property.
3:49 p.m.-Officers took information on a previous theft complaint.
3:57 p.m.-Officers did a welfare check in the area of North Sandusky and Songer Avenues.
4:16 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of vandalism in the 100 block of East Mary Street. A male reportedly threw a brick through a front window. The suspect had been a patron throughout the day and was saying he was running for President. The caller suspected the man was on drugs. The man was described as a bearded male, approximately mid-thirties 5 foot 8 inches tall, wearing a red coat and two toboggan hats. The suspect was located and charges are pending.
4:34 p.m.-Officers investigated a parking complaint in the 200 block of Aumiller Drive. The motorist moved their vehicle to the park.
6:05 p.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance of a resident tossing property out of a window in the 800 block of Beverly Drive.
6:53 p.m.- An animal complaint was made in the 100 block of Washington Square where a child was chasing a small dog running loose.
7:33 p.m.- Two income tax summons were served to inmates at the Crawford County Justice Center.
8:13 p.m.- A traffic citation was issued for driving under suspension in the area of Plymouth and Vollrath Streets.
8:16 p.m.- Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of North Sandusky Avenue. The driver was cited for driving under suspension and served three summonses for income tax. The driver, Jordan Partlow, 32, of Bucyrus, also had one Crawford County warrant and two Shelby Police Departments warrants. The passenger was arrested for an unrelated charge.
10:10 p.m.- Officers assisted the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department in the 100 block of East Liberty Street. A person wanted by the Sheriff’s Office was located and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center.
11:14 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of an intoxicated person in the Whetstone Street and Woodlawn Avenue area. A shirtless man was walking towards the ballfields at Lions Park. The person was located and escorted to his residence.
11:26 p.m.-Officers assisted Portsmouth Ambulance in the 900 block of Woodlawn Avenue.

12:08 a.m.-A report of loud music was investigated in the 1300 block of Monnett Street.
1:19 a.m.-Officers investigated a parking complaint in the 800 block of South Walnut Street.
2:16 a.m.-Officers took a report of a hit-skip accident in the 300 block of East Warren Street. A white Chevy pickup parked on the street was struck by an unknown vehicle.
2:33 a.m.-Officers responded to a disturbance of patrons refusing to leave an establishment in the 100 block of West Mansfield Street. Everyone left the area declining to make any report to officers.
3:13 a.m.-Officers found an abandoned vehicle in the East Rensselaer Street and Highland Avenue area. The white Ford pickup had sticks and limbs hanging out of the grill area and a motorist could not be located. The vehicle was towed due to being in the roadway.
8:13 a.m.-A traffic warning was issued in the Spring and West Mansfield Street area.
9:09 a.m.-Officers assisted Producer’s Stockyards in the 800 block of Plymouth Street. A steer on the loose was dispatched at the request of the owner.
2:06 p.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 500 block of South Poplar Street. It was a death by natural cause.
2:48 p.m.- A parking complaint was made in the 500 block of South Walnut Street. The vehicle reportedly parked facing the wrong way left the area.
3:07 p.m.- A 911 hang-up call was investigated in the 300 block of East Warren Street. The caller decided against needing to go to the emergency room.
3:28 p.m.- A disturbance caused by a loud patron was investigated in the 200 block of East Mary Street.
4:07 p.m.- A traffic citation was issued for driving under suspension in the 200 block of East Mansfield Street.
4:54 p.m.- Officers assisted the Bucyrus Fire Department in the 400 block of West Rensselaer Street at the scene of a reported residential fire.
4:58 p.m.- A report of suspicious activity was reported in the 1200 block of East Mansfield Street.
5:08 p.m.-A possible scam was reported in the 1300 block of Marion Road.
6:37 p.m.- A welfare check was requested in the 500 block of South Sandusky Avenue. Officers checked on a person that had not been seen for several days. Officers and the Crawford County Coroner investigated the death by natural cause.
7:20 p.m.- A burglary was reported in the 700 block of Beverly Drive.
10:14 p.m.- Officers assisted the Ohio State Patrol in the 100 block of West Mansfield Street. One of the suspects in the vehicle had an arrest warrant.
10:57 p.m.- Officers assisted a person in the 200 block of South Sandusky Avenue.
11: 18 p.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance of four people trespassing around a house trailer in the 500 block of West Mansfield Street. The caller requested the people trespassed from the property and no damage was reported.

12:13 a.m.- Officers investigated a reported fight inside an establishment in the 100 block of West Mansfield Street. The people involved dispersed.
3:10 a.m.-A parking citation was issued in the 800 block of South Poplar Street.
5:01 a.m.- A 911 open line was investigated in the 200 block of Whetstone Street. No emergency was located.
3:16 p.m.- A disturbance was investigated in the 700 block of Beverly Drive. The three females and one male involved left the area on foot.
3:40 p.m.-A report of a person trespassing in the 400 block of East Rensselaer Street was investigated.
7:36 p.m.- A welfare check was requested in the 400 block of North Sandusky Avenue.
7:43 p.m.- A car and deer accident was investigated on East Beal Avenue. No motorist injuries were reported. The deer was injured, dispatched by an officer and removed by a citizen for a deer carcass receipt.
9:08 p.m.-A report of a person trespassing was investigated in the 400 block of East Rensselaer Street.
