The Ohio Department of Transportation will begin a new resurfacing project on Ohio 19 this week.
Ohio 19, from the Seneca County line to Ohio 19 and on Ohio 19 to Ohio 100, will be reduced to one lane of traffic for a resurfacing project. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers. The project is expected to be complete in September 2017.
Ohio 39, from Tiro Road to the Richland County line, will have potential lane closures as needed for a chip seal project. Traffic will be maintained by periodic flagging operations. The project is expected to be complete in June 2017.
Another chip seal project is in the works on Ohio 96, from Ohio 602 to the Richland County line. That project will have two lanes of traffic in each direction for a chip seal project. Traffic will be maintained by periodic flagging operations. The project is expected to be complete in October 2017.
There are two resurfacing projects currently underway in the county. In both cases the road will be reduced to one lane of traffic and will be maintained with flaggers. Those projects are occurring on Ohio 103 from Ohio 4 to the Huron County line, and on Ohio 602, just south of New Washington to the Ohio 103 junction.
