NORWALK, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)— A Norwalk resident, previously convicted of sexual offenses, is currently being held in the Huron County Jail on charges of menacing by stalking.
The suspect, identified as Dedric Burton, stands approximately 5’10″ tall and weighs around 240 lbs. He is known to drive a 2011 white Mazda3, with the license plate number KCG4653. Burton was convicted of rape and gross sexual imposition in 1998 in Richland County and has been classified as a sexual predator.
Burton’s current charges stem from an ongoing investigation by the Huron County Sheriff’s Office. During the course of the investigation, it was discovered that Burton had been working for an online food delivery service under a different name.
Authorities believe there may be other victims or individuals with information related to Burton’s activities. The Huron County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone who may have been victimized by Burton or who may have relevant information to come forward.
