GALION – Northmor Local School District was evacuated due to a threat of gun violence found on  school property.

According to Superintendent Chad Redmon, two female students reported finding a handwritten note in a high school girls bathroom at approximately 11 a.m. today.

Students were evacuated from the K-12 building and parents were notified of the threat with a message from the school’s administration.

Students were then released to their parents and guardians when it was deemed safe to do so by law enforcement and school staff.
