MANSFIELD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The North Central Ohio Hall of Excellence dinner and induction ceremony will take place on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at the James W. Kehoe Center in Shelby, Ohio.  The event benefits the North Central State College Foundation and celebrates individuals whose leadership, innovation, and dedication have made a lasting impact across the region.

The evening will begin with a pre-reception at 5:00 p.m., followed by the formal program at 6:00 p.m.  with the processional and dinner with the program to follow.

This year’s ceremony will honor three distinguished residents of North Central Ohio whose contributions exemplify excellence. 

The 2026 honorees are:

David Eichinger

For more than four decades, David Eichinger has been helping families throughout the region plan for their financial future as Senior Vice President of the Eichinger, Brafford, McCleod Group of Merrill Lynch.

But his desire to serve the needs of his clients and the community goes far beyond financial planning.

A lifelong supporter of community development for north central Ohio, David was a founding member of the Richland Community Development Group (RCDG) tasked with providing a cohesive response, and perhaps more importantly, a strategic effort to plan, manage and encourage economic development throughout the region.

Zoi is President of both PR Machine Works and Slick Automated Solutions here in Mansfield. She also serves as President of the Regional Manufacturing Coalition (RMC), an organization the Romanchuk’s helped found in 2002.

Mark serves as the Senator for the 22nd District, representing Ashland, Medina and Richland Counties. He is Chairman of the Medicaid Committee, Vice-Chair of the Small Business and Economic Opportunity Committee, and a member of the Finance, Health and Public Utilities Committees. Mark also serves on the board for The Ashbrook Center and is a member of Sertoma in Mansfield.
