Monday is Columbus Day. Because Columbus Day is recognized as a federal holiday, many government offices and services will not be open on Monday.
Before going out to conduct business at any government office on Monday, it is a good idea to call ahead and make sure that office will be open.
The United States Postal Service will not pick up or deliver any mail that day. All Post Offices will be closed. Post Offices will be open and normal mail delivery operations will resume on Tuesday.
