Those who work in the Crawford County Justice System aren’t in danger of running out of work any time soon, especially after Wednesday in Common Pleas Court. Nineteen people were arraigned on felony charges in a marathon morning session.

Duane Crisp had bond set at $2 million on charges of gross sexual imposition and illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented materials or performance. Chad Randall’s bond was set at $1.5 million. Randall is charged with felonious assault and assault on a police officer for attacking Bucyrus police officer Sam Caldwell with a spear.

Matthew Lust is charged with aggravated robbery and had bond set at $1 million. A co-defendant in the case, Cory Musselman, is also charged with aggravated robbery. His bond was set at $750,000.

Notable by her absence from Wednesday’s arraignments was Crestline school teacher Brittany Hall. Hall has been indicted on charges of sexual battery and unlawful sexual contact with a minor. Hall’s arraignment was postponed when her attorney could not be present.

Others who were arraigned and pleaded not guilty included: Chad Perdue for receiving stolen property (personal recognizance bond); Mitchell Duke for robbery ($250,000); Kaneasha Dotson for drug possession ($25,000); Darrell Hall for felony OVI ($150,000); Kelsey Belcher for drug possession ($50,000); Crystal Hill for drug possession ($25,000); Delton Duffield III for receiving stolen property (personal recognizance bond; Paulette Cameron for drug possession ($25,000); Matthew Witten for receiving stolen property (personal recognizance bond); Joseph Stackman for drug possession (personal recognizance bond); Tyrone Bowman for drug possession ($25,000); Paul Holcomb for theft ($10,000); Cindy Lu Mabe for drug possession ($50,000); and Charles Reese for drug possession (personal recognizance bond).

Three people took a short cut through the legal maze and pleaded guilty at their arraignments Wednesday.

Waiving his right to legal counsel Donald Ray pleaded guilty to felony 5 drug passion. Ray was ordered held in the Crawford County jail until a pre-sentence investigation is complete.

Joseph West pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property and was placed on community control for two years. West was also ordered to pay $850 in restitution.

Donald Fetters pleaded guilty to drug possession. Fetters was placed on three years of community control and ordered held in the county jail until his placement in the Medically Assisted Treatment program.
