The Memorial Day weekend was a busy one for the Bucyrus Police Department with nineteen arrests being made.

The holiday arrests began at 7:04 Friday morning with 40-year-old Jason Utz arrested for disorderly conduct and possessing drug abuse instruments. He was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center pending a court appearance.

Dustin Nolen, 27, was arrested that afternoon at his residence on charges of domestic violence and a Crawford County warrant. He was also transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

That evening 27-year-old Joey Rankins was arrested in the area of Kramer Ave. and Charles St. on charges of possession of drugs. He was issued a summons to appear in court and released.

Four people were arrested with 40 minutes of each other for an open container in City Lot 3 Saturday. Those arrested included 46-year-old Lisa Payne, 58-year-old Harold Marcho, 56-year-old George Campbell, and 24-year-old Charles E. Smith were both arrested in City Lot 3 Saturday morning. All four were issued a minor misdemeanor citation and released.

Twenty-year-old Carl Paolella was arrested in the area of Sandusky Ave. and Mary St. at 2:04 Saturday morning on a Seneca County warrant. He was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center.

Thirty-four-year-old John Kildow and 29-year-old Jason Shope were arrested on warrants out of Crawford County later that evening. Kildow was taken to the county jail to be held while Shope was issued a date to appear in court and was released.

Twenty-five-year-old Chelsea Griffin was arrested for theft, possession of heroin, and a warrant Saturday evening. She was taken to the county jail to be held for a court appearance.

Fifty-six-year-old Michael Rayborn was arrested a short while later on a warrant out of Crawford County for domestic violence. Rayborn is being held in the Crawford County Justice Center.

At nearly 8 Sunday evening, Bucyrus police arrested five people for disorderly conduct. Twenty-nine-year-old Steven Kendall, 38-year-old Richard Dible, 24-year-old Christopher Grasley, 45-year-old Richard Drew Jr., and 26-year-old Michael Radebaugh were released with pending court dates.

At the same time, 18-year-old Aacin Webb was arrested for possession of drugs. He was issued a criminal summons and was released with a pending court date.

Twenty-year-old Kayla Romanko was arrested Monday morning for disorderly conduct. She was taken to the county jail to be held until sober.

Tuesday fared no better for police. Thirty-year-old Jeff Green was arrested in the 500 block of S. Sandusky Ave. on charges of domestic violence after reportedly assaulting a family member the night before. Green was transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.
