BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Julie Spitzer’s brother made the difficult decision to send her beloved dogs to the pound. Spitzer was recently killed in an auto accident.

Julie’s niece, who wishes to remain anonymous, reached out to the public in a plea for help.

“It breaks my heart to see Julie’s dogs in this situation. She would be devastated if she knew what had happened to them,” the niece said.

The dogs are currently being housed at the Crawford County Humane Society, and the niece is hoping that someone in the community will step up to provide these two dogs with a loving home. The dogs have never been separated so the family is asking they remain together.

“We are asking for anyone who is able to provide a loving home for Julie’s dogs to please come forward. Sharing this information could help us find them the homes they deserve,” the niece added.

If you are interested in adopting Julie’s dogs, please contact the Crawford County Pound at 419-562-9149 beginning Thursday.
