The fourth SPARK session is coming to Crawford County and will be focusing on effective communication.
SPARK 4: Effective Communication Skills Utilizing the DiSC Behavioral Profile will be presented by Lorie Simpson.
This SPARK session will help attendees achieve:
- Well-defined goals for more effective communications;
- The ability to create an open environment for communication;
- The skill to communicate clearly and listen effectively;
- Stronger relationships through powerful communication;
- An understanding of your own, as well as others’, communication styles and needs through a DiSC behavioral assessment;
- Techniques to facilitate effective team communications; and
- Emotional intelligence to deal with difficult situations.
Individual and team success depends upon the ability of individuals to communicate with others. Every interaction with another person determines how you are perceived, and every interaction is an opportunity to develop trust and exert positive influence. DiSC is a personal assessment tool used to improve productivity, teamwork, and communication.
The next session has been scheduled from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Oct. 28 at the Bucyrus Public Library. The cost for the session is $75, which also includes lunch.
