The Bucyrus City Council will meet at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6 in Council Chambers, City Hall, 500 S Sandusky Avenue, Bucyrus for a regularly scheduled Council meeting.
The public is invited to attend the meeting. Council reserves the right to amend the agenda as needed for the regularly scheduled Council meeting.
On Wednesday, Oct. 7, the Bucyrus City Council Committees will meet in Council Chambers of City Hall, 500 S Sandusky Ave., Bucyrus, for a special joint Committee meeting beginning at 6 p.m. Council President Love has referred the Crawford County Education and Economic Development Partnership to the Economic Development and Finance Committees.
The special joint Committee meeting has been called by Monica Sack, Steve Pifer, and Bill O’Rourke. This will replace the regularly scheduled Thursday meeting to accommodate the availability of outside consultants. Topics of discussion will include the following:
- Economic Development Committee: Crawford County Education and Economic Development Partnership – Discussion on effect to City
- Public Lands & Buildings: Old Gas Station Clean-up – Brownfield Grant; City Hall roof quotes
- Health & Safety Committee: Fire Department Building/Safety Inspections – Occupancy Permit; Liquor License Agency request
- Finance Committee: Crawford County Education and Economic Development Partnership; Old Gasoline Clean-up – Brownfield Grant; City Hall roof quotes; Appropriations – Legal advertising and Council training and education; OPWC Grant – Interest while under construction for the Water Treatment Plant; and regular 2016 OPWC Grant.
