NEW WASHINGTON, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Village of New Washington has named Aaron R. Kissling, a sixteen-year veteran of law enforcement, as its new Chief of Police.

Kissling, a 2004 graduate of Buckeye Central High School, expressed his enthusiasm for serving the community where he grew up. His appointment was announced in a message to residents, where he emphasized his commitment to the village.

“I am excited to serve a community that I grew up in,” Chief Kissling stated. “With sixteen years in law enforcement, I am looking forward to bringing my experience to the Village of New Washington.”

Kissling outlined his commitment to maintaining public trust and safety, vowing to “strive to assist in any way possible and investigate all criminal matters to the fullest extent.” He also promised respect for all residents and continuity in the relationship between the police department and the community.

Chief Kissling encouraged residents to introduce themselves when they see him, adding, “I am excited to start this new journey, and glad that the Village of New Washington residents get to be a part of it.”
