NEWS RELEASE:

Newly elected leaders of the Earth, Wind and Flowers Garden Club, Bucyrus, were installed by member Mary Lee Minor, who used woven wooden hearts filled with fresh artemisia and pearly everlasting.

Bows were attached, symbolic of each office. President Judy Widman received a red bow, vice president Cheryl Corney received pink, co-secretaries Deb Pigman and Bev Sipe received blue and tresurer Joy Lauthers received gold.

When the new program year began in October, the speaker was the current president of the Ohio Association of Garden Clubs, Geri Rea of Mansfield. She spoke about the structure and work of OAGC.

The club’s winning beautification record book was displayed; it chronicled the 23 years of hanging baskets along with the two years of work on the square of Bucyrus.
