BUCYRUS, OHIO (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—A new junior prince and princess were crowned Monday afternoon at the Crawford County Fair’s Jr. Prince and Princess Royalty Pageant.
Aria Sennet, 14, of Bucyrus, was named 2025 Jr. Princess. She attends Wynford High School and is a member of the Bucyrus Kilbourne Clovers 4-H Club. Her fair projects include writing, psychology, and self-determined exhibits.
Sennet said she ran not only to represent Crawford County, but also to be a voice for her 4-H club.
“I don’t know what to expect, but I’m excited to see what I can do and what I will learn as the princess,” she said. “I think running for Jr. Princess is a great idea because it gives people something to do, and they can be looked up to as role models.”
Hayden Finney, 15, of North Robinson, was named 2025 Jr. Prince. He attends Colonel Crawford High School and is involved in the North Robinson Blue Ribbons 4-H Club and Colonel Crawford FFA. He is showing pigs and sheep at the fair.
Finney said he sees the role as a way to contribute to the fair’s continued success.
“Being the prince keeps the fair running smoothly and encourages participation,” he said. “Running for Jr. Prince is a great idea because it helps the community and supports the fair.”
