GALION—The Northmor Board of Education held their regular meeting on Tuesday evening.
Though USDA approved free breakfast and lunches for students for the 2021-2022 school year, schools were advised to set lunch fees in case something changes. Elementary lunches are $2.50, seventh through twelfth graders’ lunches are $2.75, and adult lunches are $3.75.
Regular school fees will remain the same as last school year.
The board approved Dairy Enterprises as the dairy provider and Nickels Bakery as the bread provider for the school year for the 2021-2022 school year.
A donation of five hundred, three-ring binders was accepted on behalf of the George Harmon family. Those binders will be available for staff and students for the upcoming school year.
Under the Superintendent’s employment recommendations portion of the agenda, Debbie Goodman was hired as the Transportation Coordinator, Bard Kegley as the Preschool Director, Jacob Beard as the Head Varsity Assistant Girls’ Golf Coach, Taylor Tackett as the Varsity Assistant Girls’ Basketball Coach, and Megan Hammond as the Varsity Cheerleading Advisor.
The next board meeting is July 20 at 6 p.m.
