TIRO — Cody Ramey presided over her first Tiro Village Council Meeting as the village’s fiscal officer Wednesday. She was appointed by Tiro Mayor Ron Brown.
The meeting took place in the Tiro/Auburn Firehouse Meeting Room.
Ramey took roll call and read the minutes from last month’s meeting.
During old business, Tiro Solicitor Sebastian Berger reported that the Record Retention Policy had been established. Ramey also reported that the public notice of her appointment appeared in the Wednesday edition of the Crestline Advocate.
During new business, council discussed the need to repair sidewalks along Main St., which were being damaged by tree roots. Brown said council could not use funds from the State of Ohio to repair the sidewalks. The money must be used out of the village’s street fund. Brown also said he would be in touch with the county to patch some potholes.
The next scheduled meeting of the Tiro Council is April 25 at 7 p.m. in the Tiro/Auburn Firehouse meeting room.
