Vanessa L. Shutler has been named the new Executive Director for the United Way of Crawford County. She was formerly with the Crawford County Board of Developmental Disabilities for six years. She served as the Community Employment Manager and also the Supervisor of a four county partnership and state agency contract.
“I am honored to be the new Director of such an amazing and important organization,” said Shutler.
Board Member, Pennie Fox says, “The United Way believes in the power of partnerships and in the betterment of our community for everyone. We are very excited to be a part of continuing to bring change and positivity to Crawford County and have Vanessa as the new Executive Director.”
The United Way partners with all agencies in Crawford County to address the critical issues facing our communities, including the focus areas for United Ways across the country related to education, income, and health. The United Way combined efforts several years ago to form a county wide organization committed to improving lives and creating positive community impact across the county.
