Tony Rose came to Bucyrus this past spring as the new boys basketball coach and as a teacher. Rose may go into the school year as the district’s new athletics and activities director as well.
Superintendent Kevin Kimmel has indicated that Rose will be recommended to the school board at its meeting Tuesday for the athletics and activities director position to replace Tom Jeffrey who left to take a similar position with the Milan Edison school district.
Rose came to Bucyrus from the North Union school district where he coached girls basketball and was the athletics director.
