Avita Health System is pleased to welcome Ted Woodruff, MD, Fellowship-trained Neurologist, to its team of physicians. Specializing in adult neurology, Dr. Woodruff cares for patients 16 years and up at two clinic locations: 269 Portland Way S (Galion Hospital) and 139 Gaius Street in Bucyrus.

As an Ohio native, Dr. Woodruff has been loyal to The Ohio State University for his education and medical training. Starting with a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science & Engineering, Dr. Woodruff went on to attend Medical School at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, where he earned his Medical Doctorate. Dr. Woodruff furthered his training with an Internship in Internal Medicine at Riverside Methodist Hospital before returning to OSU to complete a residency in Adult Neurology and a Fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology.
Neurological conditions affect the brain, spinal cord, and nerves. Dr. Woodruff is experienced in a very comprehensive list of acute and chronic neurological conditions and commonly treats patients who have the following: Alzheimer’s disease/dementia, epilepsy/seizures, headache/migraine, multiple sclerosis, muscle diseases, neuropathy, Parkinson’s disease, or stroke. Dr. Woodruff is also experienced with EEG and EMG testing.
