Students in the nursing program at North Central State College will provide a Health Fair Oct. 28 at its main campus in Mansfield. The Health Fair will be from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Room 128 A, B and C of Kee Hall.
There will be a total of 14 stations: diabetes, heart disease, communicable diseases, driving safety, tobacco and e-cigarettes, nutrition, stroke and hypertension, exercise, stress, cancer, sun safety, and community resources. Each station will have information, multiple activities, and screenings where appropriate.
Screenings are open to members of the general public as well as NC State students and staff. Those who attend may visit as many or as few of the screening stations they would like.
