MANSFIELD, Ohio – The North Central State College Board of Trustees was informed at their meeting on June 25, 2014 that the NC State negotiating team and leadership of the North Central State Faculty Association – AAUP (American Association of University Professors) have reached tentative agreement on all current negotiations. The NCSF-AAUP is expected to vote on the agreement before the next Board of Trustees meeting scheduled for August 27, 2014. The NC State Board is expected to ratify the agreement at that meeting.

Specific terms of the agreement remain confidential until the contract is approved by the faculty, and ratified by the board.

Margaret Puckett, spokesperson for the North Central State Faculty stated, “Our members are pleased to have the negotiation completed, and are eager to get back to planning for arrival of students enrolled for the fall term.”

Dwight McElfresh, Chair of the NC State Board of Trustees added his thanks, “On behalf of the Board of Trustees, and especially the students we serve, I thank everyone involved for working through the negotiations process with professionalism.  It is a testament to our belief that at North Central State College, we are focused on the needs of our students.”
