Nature Center announces Fourth of July hours

The Lowe Volk Park Nature Center will be open on Tuesday, July 4 from noon to 8pm.

The Lowe Volk Park Nature Center will be open on Tuesday, July 4 from noon to 8pm.

The normal hours of the Nature Center are Monday through Thursday from 8am to 8pm (June – August), Friday and Saturday from 8am to 4pm and Sunday from noon to 4pm. All of the parks of the Crawford Park District are open from sunrise to sunset. The ponds at Unger Park and Lowe-Volk Park are open for catch and release fishing. Adults do not need a license to fish in either of the ponds.
