BUCYRUS—Jordan Hartschuh, a 4th-grade student at Wynford Elementary School, saw a need and implemented a donation drive for hygiene products to go to Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
Jordan, along with his family, brought his idea to his 4th-grade teachers and student leadership team. Together, they spearheaded a successful campaign.
Jordan and his mother, Rose, delivered the hygiene kits to the Blue Jackets Family Resource Center at Children’s Hospital Thursday morning.
The Family Resource Center is inside the hospital and serves families who don’t utilize the Ronald McDonald House.
The center said they go through several kits a day; They have been without product for a week.
They appreciated the big effort from a small school. The kits were pre-assembled. Those in need can just take a kit and go.
