BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—On October 13th, 2023, law enforcement agencies concluded a narcotics investigation at 921 E. Mansfield St, Bucyrus. The operation was carried out by the Crawford County Special Response Team (SRT), comprising members from various local law enforcement agencies.
The primary target of the investigation was Jeremia Batcheller, a 24-year-old individual, who was arrested during the execution of a narcotic search warrant. Several other individuals, including Cathy Beam (25), Tobias Waldbauer (24), Tristan Mills (24), and James Gatchel (25), were initially detained but later released after questioning.
During the operation, law enforcement seized suspected methamphetamines, prescription pills, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia from the residence.
Batcheller now faces charges of trafficking in methamphetamines. Reports related to the case will be forwarded to the Crawford County Prosecutors Office for potential charges.
The investigation is ongoing, led by detectives from the Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff Scott Kent and Lt.
