BUCYRUS — Several defendants were arraigned Monday in Crawford County Common Pleas Court.
Molly Bennett of Bucyrus was charged with one count of theft, a fifth-degree felony punishable with up to 12 months in prison. Bennett, 33, pleaded not guilty.
Common Pleas Judge Sean Leuthold gave Bennett a personal recognizance bond and appointed attorney Neil Huggins to defend Bennett.
Gary Predmore, 42, of Galion was indicted on one count of possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony and three counts of receiving stolen property, all fifth-degree felonies and all punishable with up to 12 months in prison. Predmore is currently in jail. Bond was set at $50,000. Attorney Neil Huggins was appointed to represent Predmore.
Fallyn Phillips, 36, of Galion was arraigned on one count of receiving stolen property, a fourth-degree felony punishable with up to 18 months in prison, one count of possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony punishable with up to 12 months in prison, falsification, a first-degree misdemeanor punishable with up to six months in jail, resisting arrest, a second-degree misdemeanor punishable with up to 90 days in jail, possession of drugs, a first-degree misdemeanor punishable with up to six months in jail and possession of a dangerous drug, a first-degree misdemeanor punishable with up to six months in jail.
Leuthold set Phillips’ bond at $100,000 and appointed attorney Tani Eyer to represent Phillips.
Codey Yeager, 32, of Crestline was indicted on three counts of felonious assault, all second-degree felonies and each punishable with up to eight years in prison. Yeager faces a total of up to 24 years in prison if convicted.
According to Crawford County Prosecutor Matt Crall, Yeager assaulted three victims with a cast iron skillet and a knife. Crall said the victims were not hospitalized but required medical attention. According to police reports, Yeager may have been on substances or experiencing a mental crisis at the time of the attack.
Leuthold set Yeager’s bond at $200,000 and appointed attorney Joel Spitzer to represent Yeager.
Deondre Adams, 24, of Bucyrus was charged with one count of complicity to commit burglary, a second-degree felony punishable with up to eight years in prison.
Bond was set at $75,000 and Leuthold appointed attorney Brian Gernert to represent Adams.
Zachariah Roberts, 26, of Tiro was arraigned on one count of possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony punishable with up to 12 months in prison and one count of possession of drug abuse instruments, a second-degree misdemeanor punishable with up to 90 days in jail. According to records, Roberts has overdosed on drugs four times since July.
Leuthold set Roberts’ bond at $50,000 and Leuthold appointed attorney Brian Gernert to represent Roberts.
