Marion, Ohio — Marion Technical College congratulates the 21 graduates of the 21st Marion Law Enforcement Academy.

“These graduates have the heart, the ability, and the training to serve our community,” said Commander Greg Perry. “These are the special people willing to run into danger to protect and serve. We wish them the best as they begin their careers.”

“These graduates spent a year studying law enforcement, communication with the public, problem solving techniques, and other critical skills,” said Debbie Stark, Dean of Business, Information Technologies, and Criminal Justice at MTC. “We expect great things from them as they step into Ohio’s workforce.”

In the last graduate survey posted, 100 percent of MTC graduates would recommend MTC’s program. Graduates of the Marion Law Enforcement Academy at MTC has a high rate of passing state exams required by the Ohio Peace Officer’s Training Commission to join state or local law enforcement. In addition, the Academy earns 25 credit hours towards an Associate’s degree.
