NEWS RELEASE:
The Mt Zion Buckeyes Club held their community service clean up at Camp Michael on June 4, 2018 at 6:00pm. After the cleanup, the meeting was held from 7:00pm-8:00pm.
There was a call to order, pledges, roll call and the secretary/ treasurers report was called
Members were reminded that Skillathon will be July 7, 2018 from 8:30am-11:00am and is required for all youth enrolled in a livestock project. Other announcements were held including: Jr.Fair Livestock Entry Forms are due by June 20; Junior Fair King and Queen applications are also due by June 20; Miscellaneous Contest Entries are due to the OSU extension office by July 12th; food stand sign ups.
Pictures were taken of the club members and officers for the fair booth.
Demonstrations were done by: Makenna Zabest (10 best goat breeds); Abi Chester (ways to prevent disease in livestock); Miya Kinn (how to make spray and liquid chalk); Abby Underwood (welding)
Refreshments were provided and the meeting was dismissed.
