BUCYRUS―Two people were charged with multiple offenses during a traffic stop in the 100 block of East Beal Avenue Friday night.
At 10:40 p.m., the two people involved came from Hopley Avenue and were heading westbound on Beal Avenue when the vehicle they were driving was stopped by Bucyrus Police officers. The pair advised they were returning from the hospital for a coronavirus check.
The driver was issued citations for a stop sign violation, fictitious plates and driving without a license and will be charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Both people in the vehicle were out in violation of the Ohio Director of Health’s order and will also be going to court for that in the future.

6:32 a.m.-Officers mediated a domestic dispute in the 500 block of Jones Street and one party surrendered a phone to the other.
11:54 a.m.-A North Walnut Street resident reported a possible fraud incident.
12:13 p.m.-A report of a vehicle parked at an intersection in a way that vehicles could not drive on the street was investigated. The vehicle was legally parked.
3:42 p.m.-Officers investigated a domestic situation in the 1000 block of Willard Street. People were arguing in a car and throwing objects out near the car. It was a civil issue regarding possession of property.
4:14 p.m.-Officers responded to a disturbance in the 300 block of West Warren Street. A person was reportedly attempting to siphon gas from a vehicle in a backyard.
4:26 p.m.-Officers responded to a report of a domestic situation in the 600 block of South Poplar Street.
6:00 p.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the 1000 block of Willard Street. It was people from an earlier dispute and they dispersed.
7:44 p.m.-A juvenile complaint in the 300 block of Emerson Street was investigated.
7:54 p.m.-Officers responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of East Liberty Street. People were trespassing and left the area.
8:02 p.m.-A report of an abandoned vehicle was investigated in the Victory Street area. The owner had been charged with drug possession two weeks earlier and never returned for the vehicle. The vehicle was towed from the area.

12:34 a.m.-A report of a group of juveniles making a lot of noise walking in the 100 block of Emerson Street was investigated. The people went to a Monnet Street location.
1:03 a.m.-A resident in the 1000 block of Rogers Street reported her 14-year-old granddaughter left the house without permission.
1:04 a.m.-A disturbance in the area of North Sandusky Avenue and Irving Street was investigated. A large group was reported yelling and singing. A person was supposed to retrieve a friend but upon arrival, she was drunk and disorderly. The drunk and disorderly person wandered off from the area of her friends.
10:47 a.m.-Officers attempted to locate an intoxicated person walking in the 1600 block of Marion Road.
11:44 a.m.-Officers checked the 900 block of East Rensselaer Street for a loose dog. The owner was in the area retrieving his dog.
12:07 p.m.-A report of fraud was made in the 1200 block of Farmview Avenue.
1:03 p.m.-Officers assisted the Bucyrus Fire Department in the 400 block of Charlotte Street with an incident involving a gas heater that had exploded.
1:20 p.m.-Officers responded to a report of a loose dog in Aumiller Park. The dog, a Husky, was returned to its owner.
2:26 p.m.-Officers assisted a person experiencing mental issues in the 200 block of Ethel Street.
3:46 p.m.-Officers responded to a disturbance in the Bucyrus Plaza area. It was a man and woman fighting and they dispersed.
4:34 p.m.-Officers investigated a hit-skip accident in the Marion Road and South Sandusky Avenue area. A maroon truck stuck the caller’s vehicle causing minor damage and drove away.
7:37 p.m.-Officers responded to a breaking and entering in the 400 block of West Warren Street in which person was striking a lock with a shovel. It was residents that were locked out of their own home.
9:08 p.m.-A disturbance in the 400 block of West Warren Street was investigated and it was a residential dispute.
9:31 p.m.-Officers investigated a reported assault of a person being punched and threatened with a firearm in the 1400 block of Woodlawn Avenue.
10:09 p.m.-Officers assisted a parent in the 900 block of Faustina Avenue with an unruly juvenile.

12:10 a.m.-Residents in the area of Perry, Myers and Hill Streets reported hearing gunshots in the area. Officers checked the area and were not able to locate anyone needing assistance or hear anything further.
12:45 a.m.-A resident in the 500 block of East Mansfield Street reported finding possible drugs on the ground by his vehicle. Officers collected and disposed of that item at the police department.
1:45 a.m.-A resident in the 900 block of Wingert Street reported a prowler in his back yard. It turned out to be a neighbor looking for her cat.
11:26 a.m.- Officers took a report of a trespass in the 800 block of Prospect Street.
12:19 p.m.-Officers disposed of a needle found in the 900 block of South Walnut Street.
12:25 p.m.-Officers disposed of a needle found in the 200 block or East Rensselaer Street.
12:44 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of a larceny in the 400 block of Norton Way.
1:32 p.m.-Officers assisted a resident in the 100 block of Penn Avenue with a residential lockout.
1:57 p.m.-Officers assisted a person experiencing mental issues and threatening self-harm in the 200 block of West Warren Street. The person was provided assistance and escorted to the hospital for care.
3:26 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of suspicious persons in the 800 block of East Irving Street. A person was lying on the ground and was in the company of two other people. They left the area.
5:30 p.m.-Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of North Sandusky Avenue. It was a person with a disabled vehicle.
5:59 p.m.-A report of suspicious activity in the 800 block of Kaler Avenue was investigated. It was patrons at the cemetery.
6:36 p.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the 400 block of South Sandusky Avenue. There was an argument that dispersed.
7:14 p.m.-Officers mediated a landlord-tenant dispute in the Woodbine Apartments area. People were gathering belongings.
9:52 p.m.-Officers checked the 600 block of West Warren Street for reported loud noises.
11:37 p.m.-Officers responded to a breaking and entering of a residential home in the 400 block of West Warren Street. A property owner was removing belongings.
