The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office recently revealed the identity of a man injured in a motorcycle crash in Crawford County the afternoon of Feb. 27.

On Feb. 27 at 1:45 p.m., the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office investigated a one-vehicle injury crash that occurred on U.S. 30 east of CR 330 on the east side of Bucyrus.

Preliminary investigation indicated that Tyson Thompson, 34, of Nevada was traveling eastbound on U.S. 30 when he lost control of a grey 1984 Honda motorcycle he was driving.

The motorcycle traveled off the left side of the roadway into the median where it continued eastbound before overturning and ejecting the occupant.

Whetstone Township Fire, the Ohio State Highway Patrol, and Life Support EMS also responded to the scene.
