CRESTLINE — A motorcycle crash near Crestline claimed the life of a Nevada man Wednesday evening.
According to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, Donald I. Schifer, 57, lost control of his Harley Davidson motorcycle on Middletown Road at 9:26 p.m., east of 598, causing him to strike a ditch on the north side of the road. He was ejected from his motorcycle.
Schifer was pronounced deceased at the scene by Crawford County Coroner Dr. Grant Hope.
The Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the details of the crash and more information will be released when it is available.
