A high school student in Shelby has been missing for more than 24 hours and that has led to schools closing in that area. The Shelby Police Department has indicated that a gun may also be missing from the student’s home as well causing safety concerns.
According to the Shelby Police Department, the missing student attends the Pioneer Career and Technology Center. Classes at Pioneer, the Shelby City School District and St. Mary’s School are all canceled for Monday as a result.
