There is more than just the nation’s birthday to celebrate this holiday weekend in Crestline thanks to the efforts of several area safety forces and first responders.
Thirteen-year-old Levi Harrick went missing from his home at approximately 7 o’clock Thursday morning. According to a press release, the Crestline Police Department collaborated a search involving Crestline Fire/EMS, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, Galion Med-Flight 5, the Bucyrus Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Galion Police Department, Crawford County Engineers Department CSX Railroad and members of the community.
Those efforts led to the boy being found and returned home safely.
Crestline Police Chief Joseph Butler expressed his gratitude to all those involved in the search.
