A two-vehicle accident in Holmes Township late Saturday afternoon resulted in minor injuries.
The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office investigated the accident that occurred on St. Rt. 4 near Heiber Road. The accident report indicates 23-year-old Jeffrey Hutt of Columbus was northbound when he attempted to pass a line of vehicles that had stopped behind one operated by 19-year-old Eric Witten of Bucyrus.
Witten’s vehicle was making a left-hand turn and was struck by Hutt’s. Hutt’s vehicle then went off the road and through a bush and flower bed. Both drivers declined medical treatment at the scene.
