MANSFIELD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Mid-Ohio ESC hosted Includapalooza on August 12, a professional learning conference designed to help educators address current trends in supporting all learners. The event filled the building with nearly 100 educators who were eager to learn from a variety of leading experts and regional consultants.

Participants praised the conference’s engaging content and practical strategies, noting that the information was eye-opening and immediately useful in their classrooms. The sessions covered a wide range of topics, including supporting students with autism, enhancing student behavior, integrating communication tools into the classroom, and applying brain science to improve student and educator well-being.

Dr. Richard Cowan, who led sessions on student behavior, reflected on the success of the day. “I have attended a fair number of these kinds of trainings and believe this one went quite smoothly,” Cowan said. “The participants were actively engaged, and I really enjoyed being a part of this event.”

Lisa R. Audet, Ph.D., who presented on autism, added that the team “pulled together an incredibly professional conference… No detail was overlooked.”

Kylie Dennison-Rebon, a licensed school psychologist and event co-chair, said she was thrilled to surpass participation goals. “It was exciting to see so many professionals come together, eager to strengthen their practice and deepen their knowledge,” she said.

Mid-Ohio ESC is committed to providing high-quality professional development that benefits students across the region. Organizers announced that Includapalooza will return next year on August 11, 2026.
