The Bucyrus Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating Tuesday’s two-vehicle crash on U.S. 23 that claimed the life of a Michigan man. The Patrol reported that the accident occurred at approximately 8:30 in the morning just north of Carey.

Troopers reported that 48-year-old Robert James Adams of Taylor, Michigan, was northbound when his car drifted left of center and struck the left rear trailer wheels of a commercial vehicle driven by 43-year-old Michael Reese of Memphis, Tennessee.

Adams was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Wyandot County Coroner. Reese was not injured.

An autopsy will be performed and the accident remains under investigation.
